The cheese bread is a fantastic savoury bread to enjoy, while it may take a little extra work to complete the results are always fantastic. This is your typical brioche dough that is modified with a little gruyère cheese for that earthy nutty flavour.
Pear and Gorgonzola is a classic combination, and this is a recipe I decided to try for a dinner with my parents. Being special, I went all out with Lescure butter, Mauri Picante Bontazola, fresh Williams pears, home made pasta and dinner rolls. The end result, I can quite comfortably say was fantastic, to keep the texture in the pears I may have cut them a little too thick, but in the end they added more than sufficient body to the dish.
